Dr. Ferdaus Hassan has extensive professional experience in the areas of infectious diseases and vaccines and has published more than 50 research articles in peer-reviewed journals. Followed by his Ph.D. in Japan, he joined the National Institute of Health (NIH) in 2008 as a post-doctoral fellow and worked to develop vaccines against otitis media. In 2010, he moved to the University of Missouri School of Medicine as a research assistant professor and later joined Children’s Mercy Hospital, Kansas City as a research scientist in the Department of Pathology.
