Background:
Elise is a viral immunology research scientist who is passionate about public health. Before graduate school, Elise worked as a Postbaccalaureate IRTA Fellow at the NIH Vaccine Research Center where she conducted pre-clinical research on HIV vaccines. She then completed her PhD in Immunology and Molecular Pathogenesis and a postdoctoral fellowship at Emory University, focusing on immune-based strategies for HIV cure and COVID-19 therapeutics. Following her time at Emory, Elise worked as a medical writer in medical affairs. With a deep understanding of vaccines and the ever-evolving healthcare landscape, Elise, as your scientific expert, also known as Medical Science Liaison (MSL), partners with healthcare providers to ensure cutting-edge science translates into impactful patient care.
